Abstract
Magnetization‐prepared 2DFT and 3DFT gradlent echo techniques are presented for acquisition of black blood cardiac images. Both methods incorporate RF pulses for blood saturation, centric or centric‐like view ordering, data acquisition during late dlastole, and breath‐holding. In a series of 13 volunteer studies, these methods have consistently provided good visuallzation of intraventricular structures.
