Abstract

The CCR2 receptor, a member of the beta chemokine receptor family, is predicted to be a member of the rhodopsin-like family of seven transmembrane protein receptors. It is one of the CC chemokine receptors, which have 11 distinct subtypes from CCR1 to CCR11. Two isoforms of CCR2 have been cloned. CCR2A and CCR2B are splice variants of a single gene and differ only in their carboxyl-terminals tails ....
