Abstract

Methods for the study of transport and enzyme activity in replicate populations of cells cultured in microwells have been presented. In addition to being rapid and reproducible, the methods are economical with respect to time and money. Evidence for the reproducibility and effectiveness of the methods has been reported along with some results from our transport studies to further illustrate the procedures.
