Abstract

A workshop was held immediately after the WFUMB '85 conference in Sydney to review the papers on the subject of Tissue Characterisation presented at the Conference, and to discuss their implications on the future of the subject. The Workshop took the form of a panel discussion with each panellist presenting a different aspect of Tissue Characterisation. This paper reports the general thrust of the discussion of the papers, and of the techniques covered.
