Abstract

To determine if quantification of [F]fluorodeoxyglucose (F-FDG) uptake in a thyroid nodule found incidentally on whole-body F-FDG positron emission tomography-computed tomography (PET-CT) can be used to discriminate between malignant and benign aetiology.
