Abstract

The use of the percutaneous subclavian approach for permanent transvenous cardiac pacing is described in an 8.6-kg, 18-month-old child with symptomatic congenital heart block. This approach may facilitate the use of permanent transvenous cardiac pacing in infancy and childhood.
