Abstract
There is universal agreement that lymph node metastasis, pelvic and/or aortic, have a major negative impact upon the survival of patients with early and advanced cervical cancer. There is no unanimous agreement regarding the impact upon survival of the number, location, and uni- or bilaterality of metastatic nodes. The size of positive nodes influences survival as long as it influences their resectability.
