Abstract

Thoracic endoscopy encompasses bronchoscopy, esophagoscopy, laryngoscopy, mediastinoscopy, and thorascopy (pleuroscopy). In this article, the role of documentation as it applies to bronchoscopy is discussed. However, the discussion is generally applicable to other thoracic endoscopy procedures.
