Abstract

Echocardiography is an essential tool in patients with cardiac arrhyth- mias, particularly in the critical care environment. It plays an important role in the etiological assessment, prognosis, and risk stratification of patients with arrhyth- mias. In this chapter, we discuss the key role of echocardiography in the arrhythmic patient in the coronary care unit.
