Abstract

The authors present a case of hemorrhage from ileal: metastasis of renal cell carcinoma. The Tc-99m-tagged red blood cell scintigraphy was helpful in demonstrating the hypervascular characteristics of the distal intestinal lesion and in guiding the subsequent selective angiographic work-up and surgery.
