N2 - With the increasing use of flexible intracoronary stents, the likelihood of complications, including stent misplacement, will tend to rise. We describe the successful use of three commercially available retrieval devices: the nitinol gooseneck snare, the biliary forceps, and the multipurpose basket. We recommend the availability of these devices to operators involved in intracoronary stent placement. © 1993 Wiiey‐Liss, Inc.
