Abstract

Reconstruction and rehabilitation of the head and neck cancer patient is challenging. Vascularized fibula grafts can be used to reconstruct mandibular defects after resection of the malignancy and the surrounding bone. Prosthodontic treatment can restore function and esthetics. This preliminary report discusses the use of endosseous implants in radiated mandibular vascularized fibula grafts after surgical resection. (Implant Dent 1995;4:111-114).
