Abstract

Physiological effects of cab air temperature and velocity on 16 people are presented and discussed. Parameters considered include heart rate, pulmonary ventilation, oxygen consumption and metabolic rate. Evaluation of the thermal comfort predicted by Fanger's equation for 16 tractor cab occupants is also presented and discussed.
