Abstract

We describe a patient with Graves disease and thyrotoxicosis in whom deep vein thrombosis and multiple pulmonary emboli occurred in close temporal relationship to the presence of high titer circulating antiphospholipid antibodies. To date, the occurrence of the antiphospholipid syndrome in a patient with Graves disease has rarely been reported.
