Abstract

The 4-month-old female infant was diagnosed of left inguinal hernia at one month old. Hernia content could not be confirmed definitively on US. She underwent abdominal MRI, which revealed a mass with multiple peripheral cysts. Mass and fluid around it was contiguous with the peritoneal cavity and uterus deviated to the ipsilateral side. We diagnosed of inguinal hernia of the ovary. The surgery proved it was inguinal hernia of the ovary. MRI was useful when US cannot diagnosed hernia content.
