Abstract
IT planning is a topic that gets both too much and too little attention. Frequently, there is much attention to plans at very high levels and at very low levels. The challenge is bridging that gap. In addition, high-level plans are not necessarily long-range plans, and it is important to have management strategies to assure that low-level planning continues and that there is a high level of consistency.
