Abstract

The literature is silent on the specific topic of liver transplantation in transgender people. The few prospective, large-scale studies that do exist of transgender health underscore increased risk of hepatic cirrhosis and hepatocellular carcinoma. We present a case report of a female-to-male transgender who received a liver transplant at our facility.
