Abstract
The lateral thigh flap is a fasciocutaneous flap from the lower limb that can be a versatile and reliable alternative in the reconstruction of specific head and neck defects. This article discusses the anatomy, clinical applications, advantages, and disadvantages of the lateral thigh flap.
