Abstract

A bad reaction to food is often assumed to be allergy, but frequently it is not. Dr Guarderas discusses the numerous mechanisms that mimic food allergy and the various symptoms of IgE-mediated allergic syndromes, together with recommendations for evaluation and treatment.
