Abstract

E. coli isolated from ilea of hamsters with hamster enteritis were tested for enteropathogenicity in intestinal loops prepared in both adult and weanling hamsters. E. coli isolated from hamsters with hamster enteritis caused dilatation of loops in weanling hamsters but not in adult hamsters.
