Abstract

A well organized approach to endoscope maintenance and repair is a necessity for cost efficiency. More than 20 years' experience in this area is presented. The major subjects addressed are the reprocessing of endoscopes and accessories, storage of endoscopes, inspection and troubleshooting steps, record keeping, and analysis of instrument use and repairs.
