Abstract

An autoregressive (AR) parametric estimation method using third-order statistics is described for measuring the Doppler shift frequency. Experiments conducted to examine the performance of the Doppler ultrasound parametric spectral estimation using third-order statistics are described. Experimental results show that the proposed method improves frequency estimation accuracy compared to that obtained using second-order statistics.
