Digital nerve penetration by a digital artery in a patient with neurovascular symptoms: A case report

Abstract

A patient presented with neurovascular symptoms due to penetration of a proper digital nerve by a common digital artery. To our knowledge, our report is the first clinically relevant description of this underrecognized, but relatively common anatomic variation.
