Abstract

The authors regret inadvertently missing the addition of the Animal ethical statement. Please see the intended statement below. The studies received formal approval from the Committee on Animal Research and Ethics (IACUC), at the Health Sciences Center, University of New Mexico. The experiments reported were performed in accordance with the recommendations of the United States National Institutes of Health Guide for the Care and Use of Laboratory Animals and the guidelines of the Committee for Research and Ethical Issues of the International Association for the Study of Pain. The authors would like to apologize for any inconvenience caused.
