Blind men and an elephant. In this issue of Blood, Pawlyn et al examine the prognostic implications of overlapping chromosomal abnormalities in multiple myeloma (MM), demonstrating that coexistence of hyperdiploidy does not mitigate the impact of high-risk abnormalities.1
