Abstract

This case discusses two separate drug-drug interactions. There is a pharmacokinetic interaction between fluoxetine and cylcobenzaprine and a pharmacodynamic interaction with droperidol. The drug interactions are compounded by an electrolyte imbalance, resulting in prolongation of the QTc.
