Abstract
Society's ageing is one of the priorities of the sanitary systems. Falls are one of the greatest problems in this age group. These may cause death, being the most frequent cause of death by accidents in ancient people. We made a bibliographic review about the aspects that the nurse personal must control facing an elderly with a risk of falling. In spite of the intervention activities the incidence of falls persists. We recommend multifactor interventions to prevent falling among elderly.
