Abstract

The emerging application of Gallium Arsenide digital integrated circuits to signal processing problems will require the development of architectures tuned to its special characteristics. Chip design methods may be similar to those used for silicon very high-speed integrated circuit (VHSIC) components, but system design constraints will be unique to GaAs.
