A penile ulcer with an unusual cause

Abstract

An HIV-positive man presented with a painful penile ulcer. Although the penis is an unusual location for a skin ulcer caused by Coccidioides immitis, a diagnostic workup revealed disseminated coccidioidomycosis that also involved multiple bones.
