Abstract

Researchers demonstrate two-photon crosslinking (TPC) as an enabling tool for programming 3D chemical properties of microprinted materials in the size scale ranging from one to hundreds of micrometers, with the final aim of encoding functional material properties. The researchers also sight a similar strategy in resemblance to TPC microprinting. Spatiotemporal control over the two-photon occurrence at any spot in 3D allows for precise grafting of functional moieties on arbitrary locations of a structurally complex material.
