Optimizing Pharmacotherapy with Noninvasive Wearable Sensors and Subscalp EEG

Project: Research project

Project Details

Description

Project Narrative In this project we take advantage of the UNEEG SubQ device for chronic subscalp EEG recording with distributed local and cloud analytics, telemetric data streaming, and patient-physician interface. This innovative distributed monitoring system will be used to detect electrophysiological and behavioral biomarkers impending seizures to guide self-administration of fast-acting medications. Our goal is to develop within the existing seizure management system a novel, targeted treatment method for epilepsy.
