Project Narrative
In this project we take advantage of the UNEEG SubQ device for chronic subscalp EEG recording with
distributed local and cloud analytics, telemetric data streaming, and patient-physician interface. This innovative
distributed monitoring system will be used to detect electrophysiological and behavioral biomarkers impending
seizures to guide self-administration of fast-acting medications. Our goal is to develop within the existing
seizure management system a novel, targeted treatment method for epilepsy.
