Description
Relevance:
The goal of this project is to develop and validate a method for the evaluation of bladder function. More
specifically, we are proposing a new ultrasound-based method for detecting bladder detrusor muscle
overactivity. This technique can also be used to monitor the bladder before and after a surgical procedure that
is performed on men to treat enlarged prostate. Successful completion of this research will lead to a new
diagnostic and monitoring tool for bladder patients.
